Jordan’s Digital Progress – A National Milestone

Jordan Advances in the Global Government Technology Maturity Index (GTMI) 2025

Jordan has achieved a significant national milestone by advancing 10 positions in the Government Technology Maturity Index (GTMI) 2025, issued by the World Bank Group, ranking:

  • 21st globally out of 197 countries
  • 4th across the Arab world

This progress reflects Jordan’s sustained efforts in digital transformation, government service modernization, and technological readiness, led in close coordination with national stakeholders, including the Ministry of Digital Economy & Entrepreneurship.

Jordan successfully hosted and concluded the C8 2025 Cybersecurity Progress, Innovation & Technology Conference and Exhibition at the Dead Sea. National Cybersecurity Strategy (2025–2028) Moves Forward

The National Cybersecurity Strategy for 2025–2028 was officially approved and continues to guide the Kingdom’s cybersecurity roadmap. It focuses on building a secure digital environment, strengthening governance and resilience, enhancing national capabilities, and fostering local and international cooperation — representing a comprehensive long-term vision for digital security. Jordan Times

Cybercrime Mitigation & Governance Forum 2025

Under the patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, the Cybercrime Mitigation & Governance Forum 2025 was launched, bringing together experts from government, academia, critical infrastructure, and international partners.
